Let me introduce myself. My alias is Toshiro Hitsugaya, I live in the UK, and I have ASD, PTSD, OCD and Sensory Processing Disorder

I am a nature photographer. I often enjoy taking photos of all the interesting plants and wildlife around me, wherever I am. I try to make the most of every situation I come across, whenever I’m able to. Photographs are like still memories, you can look back at them and remember the experiences, sights and colours of what was around you. In truth, my past has been quite turbulent with my own set of traumas. The traumas I’ve been through are so painful to me, that it’s difficult to calm myself, sometimes I need to stop and take in the natural atmosphere around me just to help me to relax, temporarily. It doesn’t always work of course, it’s lowering its effectiveness, as the pain is getting to be too strong. I also enjoy making abstract designs out of my photographs as well, altering the colours and patterns into unusual images.

I have a varied range of interests. My interests expanded mainly from my love of the orient, whether it be anime/manga, video games, natural beauty, architectural splendor, history, etc. Unfortunately, I have never had the privilege of visiting these oriental countries that I am fascinated about due to my difficulties, but I hope that someday it may be possible.

I created this forum as a community to help us all find new friends, and make meaningful connections that can stand the test of time. I, myself, would love to meet new friends and see where it leads.

Socialising has always been difficult for me. I’ve found the internet to be a good place to channel my socialising since I find it easier than meeting someone face-to-face. There can be so much stress, tension, anxiety and overall angst. I’m hoping this can be an opportunity to help us all find a place we can safely and comfortably socialise, without the surrounding distractions when meeting in a noisy, tension building environment.

I have written a little on the internet in the past, but most of the time, I felt misunderstood, alienated and rejected. I felt like I couldn’t find a place to truly be myself, without facing that underlying sharpness. The longer time went by, the worse I felt. Failing to find a place where you can truly be yourself without the constant expectation to have to ‘fit in’. I could never ‘fit in’, I didn’t want to. I wanted to find a place where I could truly feel comfortable. That is another reason why I chose to create this forum.

I hope that together we can create a friendly, understanding and caring community and meet new friends that can grow stronger, and explore the intricacies of the social world.

I, myself, and the moderators hope you enjoy the forum and are able to succeed in your social dreams, to find true, genuine, good friendships, and/or further.
